Creative and performing arts and sport occupy central positions in our curriculum. Alongside the rich diversity of that programme, we also offer a variety of lunch-time and after-school clubs as optional extras, allowing children to explore a wide range of different interests.
The programme is balanced between different styles of activities to appeal to all pupils. Some clubs are run by our own staff and others by outside agencies. Occasional half-term and holiday clubs are also provided depending on demand.
Some examples of recent clubs offered:
Karate, Ballet, Drama, Violin, Chess, Jewellery, Sewing, Science, Musical Instruments, ICT, Cookery, Guitar, Dodgeball, Construction, Sports, Gardening, Art & Craft, Chess Club, Football, M:Tech, Magic Club, Mindfulness & Meditation Club, Newspaper Club, Yoga, Brass Band, Fencing, Touch Typing, Mini-Engineers LEGO Club, Debating, Brain Teasers Club, Photography, Jazz Band, Library Club
In addition, a supervised Homework club is available for children in Years 4-8 from Monday to Thursday.
